erusys Institut für angewandte Systemanalytik und Industrieinformatik GmbH & Co. KG (industrial information technology for applied system analytics and industrial computer science) was founded on July 1, 1995 by the managing partners Dipl.-Phys. Kai Weber Cologne with the goal to generate client specific software for the large scale industry as well as develop a product palatte for this sector.

Since 1999 we also train our own IT specialists inhouse to become experts in the fields of application development and system integration.

The guarantee for our success is surely the great professional experience and the wide knowledge of all of our employees in the IT branch. Since the foundation of the company, werusys is continually expanding. The amount of employees has grown to 14 this year. This most likely also has to do with the large competence and high quality of the services.

Chronik

2012

In collaboration with technology partner Tatsoft, LLC, werusys presents with WatchIt/QA (Quality Assurance) a new generation of software. WatchIt/QA visualizes, documents and certifies compliance with quality assurance for production targets and acceptance tests.

2011

Ulrich Ruthemann, one of company's founders, leaves werusys.

2010

Pilot of the software module Energy: Energy Monitoring and Controlling module.

2009

Concept phase of an Engergy Management module (Energy Monitoring and Controlling module); relaunch of eCenter based on Microsoft SharePoint as Synergy Vision, Synergy Vision is highlighted as a "Qualified for INDUSTRIEPREIS 2009"; first consulting project in business intelligence, establishment of a quality management system: All internal processes are documented as Standard Operating Procedures”; First Quality Management audit.

2008

Strategic Plan for eCenter 3.0. Development and/or migration of existing interfaces to a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). Complete conversion by mid 2008.

2007

Strategy planing for the eCenter 3.0 development, respectively migration of the existing interfaces to a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). A complete conversion by the middle of 2008 is planned.

2006

Expansion of our production information system with essential LIMS (Labor Information Management System) functions. Especially the specification, inspection feature and sample administration was expanded and equipped with a SAP/QM interface. The checkback signal of the inspection lot can now function either over the interfaces OSI RLINK™ or through the Lighthammer™.

2005

First reference implementation of the new eCenter version as a broad production system and important source of data for SAP. Constant involvement of our clients in the project lifecycle by implementing a real-time problem and change management tool (compare client portal)

2004

Finishing of the product eCenter in the second version and complete adjustment of our product range. The redirection of our business model was successfully accepted by our clients. The project amounts grow steadily.

2003

Redirection of the company as a Full Service Provider for our clients. Goal is to specifically organize the company along the maturity models for projects and IT companies. Beginning of the further development of the second version of our product eCenter and combination of our product range.

2002

Takeover of the first trainee. Successful implementation of two more installations of our eCenter platform.

2001

In the course of incorporating our employee Ansgar Backhaus as an associate, the company now operates under the name werusys Institut für angewandte Systemanalytik und Industrieinformatik GmbH & Co. KG (industrial information technology for applied system analytics and industrial computer science), according to its business operating areas. The MES platform was finished and could be successfully implemented in a pilot project for Bayer AG to be used as middle ware between the leading system level and SAP, among other things.

2000

Expansion of the core competence through the vertical integration of company wide software systems. At the same time, the project to develop our new Manufacturing Execution System Solution (MES) eCenter was started.

1999

Consilidation of our service focus points and expansion. Qualification to offer apprenticeships for IT specialists in the fields of application development and system integration. Employment of first trainee.

1998

Incorporation of the new service field development and maintenance of company network architectures. Concordia Bau und Boden AG, Schering AG and Bayer AG became new clients.

1997

Expansion of the core competences and the implementation and planing of professional qualification seminars for advanced IT employess. Schooling companies like debis, System Design, Comma Soft, the informatic Bayer AG and Siemens became new clients.

1996

After a tight cooperation with the Fachhochschule Gummersbach (area for automation technology), Dipl.-Inf. Frank Weber became a new associate in July 1996.

1995

Kai Weber founds the company werusys Institut für angewandte Systemanalytik und Industrieinformatik GmbH & Co. KG (industrial information technology for applied system analytics and industrial computer science).
